Creations for your Natural Beauty

Alaafia is Yoruba for "peace". In one of the many languages of the ancestors, I greet you with a warm welcome into this space. I believe that it is our job as living spiritual beings to perform actions to do what we can to replenish and maintain the flow of creative energies everywhere we are. In so doing we can both promote balance and attempt to lessen the intrusions of negating energies. We must find ways to CREATE! We must claim sacred space! It is in this spirit that Omo Oshun Ewa was created: as a way to cultivate a more natural way of enhancing our very natural beauty and foster those creative energies, by bringing forward traditions all but forgotten. ASE!

By hand, I craft works of wearable art using natural materials both terrestrial and organic. These collections are groups of pieces with diverse yet cohesive perspectives, all using the same materials. They are inspired by some type of indigenous culture, influence or fusion as brought through by my vision, and are named thus. Similarly, certain continuous signature styles exhibit my artistic vision as a creator with spiritual healing, power and balance in mind.
